Academic English

Many of our former students will be now be getting ready to start university in the UK. A major component of successful study at a British university is being able to understand and use academic English. That's why our English for University and IELTS preparation courses have a strong focus on helping students to develop their skills in this area.

Next week I'll be giving some specific advice on how to improve your academic vocabulary and grammar, based on a webinar for English language trainers which I recently attended.  In the meantime, if you're preparing for university in the UK, I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions on ways you can enhance your academic English.  Don't worry about your English as our comments are moderated and checked for spelling and grammar before we publish them.
